By the use of different weapons and the Plasmid, Jack fends off the enemy and frees a bunch of the last remaining sane people who then turn the city’s defensive systems against the enemies.
Jack tries to escape the city but the only possible way to get out of the city gets stormed with the ADAM powered super humans and jack starts fighting with them in order to get out. The game is a lonely experience with only the cold comfort that members of the crew can be put out of their misery. SHODAN is an all-consuming presence, and she makes it very clear how much she views the player character as nothing more than a useful insect that she will soon dispose of.
